Brazilian Blowout

For years I have been looking for a solution to tame my curl locks. And for years my search had been unsuccessful. I only found products that did nothing or worst, treatments that would damage my hair. I had been hearing a buzz about the Brazilian Blowout but I was always hesitant because the price, which is around $150-$250.
Lucky, I found an amazing deal through Living Social for $99. The deal was at Kimarge Salon  in Hollywood and my stylist was Mindy (who is wonderful).

I can honestly say that my experience with the Brazilian Blowout is been mostly positive. Right after the treatment my hair felt incredible smooth and was commercial worthy silky (my picture does not do the justice to how it looked in real life). I was in love! After a few washes my hair started to get wavy. Althought the curl does did come back, it was still much easier to manage and the frizz was much more under control. The Brazilian Blowout is expected to last about 3 months but for me it's usually around 4 months. I like the Brazilian Blowout so much that I have gone back 3 times since I bought the deal online.

My advice about experimenting with this trend is to go for it! But because Brazilian Blowout are some what expensive, my recommendation is to hunt this for a deal to see how your hair reacts to the treatment. Also keep in mind thta the longer your hair is the more you may have to pay.

There is some controversy about the Brazilian Blowout, but I have not experienced any major negative effects from the treatment. The only problem that I have experienced is that my hair seems to get greasy faster.

My main inspiration is Nicole Richie, I always wondered how she got her hair to look naturally wavy and shinny. Her secret...the Brazilian Blowout.
