Printed statement scarf

When I think of a printed statement scarf I immediately think of Jessica Alba as inspiration.

I also pulling inspiration from young Hollywood fashionistas spotted below wearing a printed statement scarf.

Scarves are a  favorite accessory of mine and there are countless ways to experiment with a printed statement scarf.

For this experiment I chose to wear it a little more rock and roll.

Feather Extensions

Feather extensions have been popping up on television, the red carpet, fashion shows, and on LA fasionistas. Being obsessed with constantly looking for ways to change my hair, without damaging it, I couldn't resist jumping on this trend.

I went to the charming salon http://goodformblog.blogspot.com/ and the lovely stylist Martine greeted me with a smile and won me over with great conversation.

I decided on one long feather and three small feathers. They are attached with a metal piece, just like a regular hair extension. The process took about 15 minutes and is expected to last for 3-6 weeks. They can be washed and curled, basically treated like your own hair.

Results:

The long feather came out after two weeks, but the smaller cluster of feathers has stayed in for over a month.
I love my feather extension, and recommend them to everyone.

Welcome!

Hello all.

I have wanted to venture into the world of blogging for some time, but what could I talk about?
Fashion and beauty has always intrigued me, they’re ever evolving, and the trends take me on exciting (and sometimes embarrassing) twists and turns. I consider myself a bit of a chameleon, I love changing my style, hair, accessories and so on.

This blog is about my journey experimenting with fashion and beauty trends (past and present). My adventures in being a wardrobe stylist. and other random findings.

So...after months of deliberating...I'm proud to present sylexperiments.
Stay tuned for my first experiment

 Thanks!
